Subject: Guidelines for CAT Online Registration

Please read the following guidelines for CAT Online Registration, the same is available on T.I.M.E. Website - http://www.time4education.com/guidelines_CAT2009.htm

Guidelines for students who made mistake(s) while filling the CAT registration form

In case you made a mistake while filling up the CAT form on-line, PLEASE DO NOT PANIC. You should NOT spend another Rs.1400/- buying a new voucher unless you are sure that you have to.

T.I.M.E. has written to the IIMs pointing out the common errors that the software did not check for, on the first day of registration (9th September). We have also requested them to provide a facility to students to make changes AFTER they submit the form. We are very hopeful that the IIMs will help students resolve these issues.

Basically, if students are allowed to edit their form details, most issues would get resolved.

We would therefore advise all students who have filled their forms and have made errors, to write to the student helpline at www.prometric.com/iim-cat/contactus.htm & request for ability to edit their forms. For your information, the registration software has been modified by now (on 10th September) & is prompting for correction of certain errors that it was not detecting on Day 1 (9th  September).

Guidelines for students who are yet to fill their Online CAT form

The much awaited registration for CAT 2009 started yesterday, and unfortunately, some students made mistakes while filling up the form online. To ensure a smooth registration, remember the following guidelines. Also, please study the check list of common errors given below. Take a print out of this check list and tick each item as you complete it. Do NOT submit your form before ensuring that you are have not made any of these common errors.

Also, please note that the registration software has undergone some changes from 9th Sept. to 10th Sept. Some of the errors that the software was not detecting on Day 1, are being prompted for error-correction on Day 2.
