This is to inform you all that Dr.Mini.S.Thomas, Student Activities Co-ordinator, Asia Pacific Region has agreed to deliver a lecture on SCADA (Supervisory Control And Data Acquisition) Systems and benefits of IEEE, on 6th November, 2009 in NSIT. I request you all (IEEE and non-IEEE members) to kindly be present during the event and make it a HUGE success. If any first or second year students have ANY doubts regarding how IEEE can benefit them, they can attend this event and clear their doubts, also SCADA is a very interesting topic which many of you may be interested to learn. [bvp_ieee] #Nobel Quiz 2009

This is the NObel Quiz information which was mailed by Ankur Vijay via Narina Mam.


Narina Ma'am mailed me this to convey it to CS batch. Its some kind of
quiz. The contents of the mail follow :


Like last year, The Embassy of Sweden, New Delhi is once again
organising a "NOBEL QUIZ" in Delhi on 7th November, 2009.  The quiz
will be held at the Seminar Hall, IIT Delhi.  The quiz will begin at
1000 hrs and would continue till 1300 hrs.

Each team should contain three persons from the same college or
institute.
Any number of teams can be sent from each college.

Our quiz master would be Mr. Srinjoy Chowdhury.  The final five teams
of Delhi would then have a quiz with the teams from Pune, Mumbai,
Bangalore and Chennai.  The grand title winners will get an all-
expenses paid, weeklong trip to Sweden where they will get to visit
renowed Swedish technology companies like Atlas Copco, Sandvik,
Ericsson, Volvo Cars, VE Commercial Vehicles, SAAB, ABB and SKF,
Securitas and Systemair, universities like Lund and KTH and visit the
famous Nobel Museum.

All of you and most welcome to participate in this quiz.  You may also
invite your friends and colleagues to participate in this quiz.  I
would appreciate if you could kindly e-mail me the details at my e-
mail id above latest by Monday 26th October, 2009.

You may send me your names alongwith the Team Leader's name alongwith
your mobile numbers, so that I can register you for the Quiz.  Please
carry your id cards with you.

I hope to get a positive response from each one of you.

Dear Friends

 

On behalf of the IEEE Student Branch of BVCOE, I would like to extend my heartiest congratulations to the entire team of Dr. Vikram Sarabhai Rotating Shield Quiz Competition 2009 for conducting an excellent event. The event witnessed a participation of about 100 teams this year, from colleges such as NSIT, USIT, GTBIT, MAIT, Amity University and St. Stephens!!! The way the entire team managed the whole event is highly commendable.


I would personally like to congratulate and thank the following members without whom the event would not have been possible:
