This year too as always, we expect participation from students of several colleges of Delhi University and from various well- known colleges all over the country, including many prestigious institutions of national and international repute. It is also a landmark year for us because this year BLISSPOINT 2009 is being conducted at an International level with teams coming from various Universities in the Asia-Pacific region.
BLISSPOINT 2009 is focusing on the issue of Inclusive Growth and Environment which we shall be incorporatinf in the event as a part of the Panel Discussion and various other events. As a part of promoting the cause of protecting the environment, we also plan to 'Go Green' this year and propagate the idea of 'Reduce Reuse and Recycle' through the festival and other events in the calendar of the Economics Association.

The Economics Association of Sri Venkateswara College, Delhi University takes immense pride in inviting participation from your institution for the Business Plan Event during BLISS POINT – 2009; our International Economics Summit.
Our association works actively through out the year to organize events, lectures and seminars to encourage interaction between students and eminent speakers from various fields. Dr. Manmohan Singh, Prof K.L. Krishna, Dr. Montek Singh Ahluwalia, Prof. Panchmukhi, Dr. Jayati Ghosh, Dr. Prem Vashisht, Mr. Jairam Ramesh and Dr. Isher Judger Ahluwalia have graced Blisspoint as Chief Guests in the past. We have also had The US ambassador Dr David C. The B Plan Event at BLISSPOINT 2009 offers a Prize Money of Rs. 45000 and will be judged by an eminent panel of judges comprising of Venture Capitalists, Entrepreneurs and people from Private Equity backgrounds.
The event this year will be conducted from 27th – 29th October 2009. We request you to keep these dates in mind and kindly plan accordingly so as to make possible your presence and participation in this event a certainty. The last date for registering and sending in the executive summary is 15th October 2009.
The accommodation and food shall be provided by us free of charge but the ticket charges to reach Delhi shall not be refunded. Please find attached the rules and regulations for the Business Plan Event.
