Eligibility
Applicants should be pursuing a BS, MS or PhD in computer science or a related technical field.
Google India has Internship openings at it's Hyderabad campus. These are full–time positions.
The Start and end dates are flexible with regard to academic schedules, but you'll be expected to commit
to at least three months of full–work.All interns receive ongoing mentorship and training throughout their
time at Google. You will be assigned an intern "host" who will inspire you, oversee your work, help you identify project goals,
and help you develop as a professional. You will also attend various trainings specific to your group which
will teach you all things Google.
1. Software Engineer in Test Internship - Hyderabad
As a Software Engineering in Test intern, you'll work with Testing and Development teams to automate testing,
create new test harnesses and implement new automation tools.
Responsibilities:
- Create test plans
- Set up test environments
- Develop automated tests
- Execute and maintain automated test suites and analyze the results
- Lead test efforts and explore new ways of user-interface test automation.
Requirements:
- Currently pursuing a BS, MS, or PhD in computer science or related technical field
- Demonstrated ability to write code (C, C++, Java or Python)
- Demonstrated knowledge of, and aptitude for, software engineering and quality assurance
- Excellent knowledge of Internet/web technologies, such as browsers, HTTP and HTML
- Excellent analytical skills as well as oral and written communication skills
2. Software Engineering Internship - Hyderabad
Responsibilities:
- Research, conceive and develop software applications to extend and improve on Google's product offering.
- Contribute to a wide variety of projects .
- Collaborate on scalability issues involving access to massive amounts of data and information.
- Solve all problems that come your way.
Requirements:
- Currently pursuing a BS, MS, or PhD in computer science or related technical field
- Experience in systems software or algorithms.
- Excellent implementation skills (C++, Java, Python).
- Knowledge of UNIX/Linux or Windows environments and APIs.
- Familiarity with TCP/IP and network programming a plus.

Details of the Internship :
Stipend - No stipend would be provided for the Internship.

Location: Any, preferably Gurgaon
The research analyst will be responsible for the operations, content and database development efforts of MentorPolis which entails :
1. Conducting research related to business development, marketing and content development
2. Identification of new topics, and performing initial research on it (use the frameworks devised by MentorPolis to do additional research)
3. Interacting with Mentors and Mentees to connect them smoothly
4. Support the seniors of the team in their work and assist with some administrative duties related to the office infrastructure
The Internship position will have the opportunity to contribute to the development and maturation of the firm which will allow them to gain invaluable work experience. He/She should have a strong motivation to work with a startup given the level of responsibilities to be entrusted with.
Experience & Competencies:
1. Should have good writing skills and should be highly innovative to proactively come up with new ideas
2. Should be VERY good in research on web and should be a keen learner
3. Proven time-management and organizational skills, ability to prioritize and juggle several projects while working under tight deadline pressure
