One of United Nation's Millennium Goals is "Ensure Environmental Sustainability".

IEEE is playing its role in this direction. IEEE Delhi Section is organizing Sustainability Conference as part of IEEE's 125th Anniversary Celebrations.

Day/ Date: Saturday 28th November 2009
Time: 10am-5pm
Venue: HMR Institute of Technology and Management,
Plot No. 370, Hamidpur,Delhi
Pincode – 110036, INDIA

The conference will have deliberations from experts on this issue, challenges, current developments and solutions available currently and
the research taking place. The main areas that the conference will touch:

• Renewable energy
• Solid waste management
• E-waste management
• Clean Development Mechanism
• Global Reporting Initiative
• Carbon Disclosure Project
• Green ICT (Information and Communications Technology)

The audience is all IEEE members and non-members (corporations, members of general public).
